I can’t talk to you
Except for behind this screen
Where I can pretend
Where I can get away
Some of the pain leeks out
Hidden in my words
Or I can tell you
Typing, like my stories
Don’t give me that look
I know how sad it is
But when I’m in front of you
I can only tell you in my mind

But nothing has been spoken
